Overview
Kabale Municipality is the main urban center in Kabale District, which is located in the Kigezi sub-region of Uganda's Western Region. It's about 88 miles southwest of Mbarara, the largest city in the Western Region, and 250 miles southwest of Kampala, the capital city. Kabale Municipality is made up of three divisions: Central, Northern, and Southern, each with four wards, and a total of 74 villages. The municipality's population is 56,800, and the main economic activities are agriculture, cattle rearing, and tourism
